A childhood hobby turned passion
I was 4 years old when I first learned how to bake. I was 16 years old when I began “The Sweet Life by Ange”. A high school kid navigating early entrepreneurship, we started in the early 2000’s selling desserts and cakes out of a booth in a mall and online. We had many viral sensations over the years & became a fixture at birthdays, holiday tables and dessert spreads. After an almost 20-year run, I decided it was time. In 2021, “The Sweet Life by Ange” quietly closed shop. I always envisioned bringing my love for baking to Los Angeles.
In 2025, “Caketelier” was born. Combining over 30+ years of cake artistry & baking experience, a fashion design background, years of creative direction, branding & social media, Caketelier fuses all my creative & pastry skills into a singular brand.
